Grass growing in beds

Hi all,
There is grass growing through the beds. I have pulled it out for it to only reappear again. It is very extensive and it is very difficult to get rid of it without damaging the plants. I would be grateful for some advice on how to get rid / prevent it from happening. Picture is attached.

Weeding by hand to remove the roots is the only realistic option. That may involve lifting out plants to make sure they are clear of grass roots before replanting. Once it is eradicated use denser planting and mulches to reduce the opportunities for it to re-seed.
