Lavender Revival?

Hi Everyone.

New on here so sorry if this is in the wrong place.
We caught some Rosemary Beetles on some of our French Lavenders a week or so ago and one of them doesnt seem to be recovering.

We have been checking them daily and still find the odd one about but not nearly as many as there were.

Is there anything we should do to help the plants recover from this?

I have attached an image of the plant =)

Thanks in advance
Dave

Sorry to hear that the beetle has attacked your plant. It looks like it's fighting back. The only way is to keep a close eye on the branches and lay something under the base and give them a shake every few days.

Lavenders get tired and woody anyway, so I think the best bet is to take cuttings or grow new plants every 2-3 years.

No feeding needed for your french Lavenders and make sure they have good drainage and keep in a sunny/sheltered spot.

I'm not sure that the beetles are entirely to blame. French lavender isn't fully hardy and often looks very shabby after winter.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
