Moved palm tree now its unwell

Please help! We have several palm trees in our garden in North Wales. We had to move one of the trees as it had grown so well it was covered by other plants and trees. I know it was the wrong time to move it but we felt we had to else it may not get enough light. Anyway, we moved the tree to another sunny area but the palm tree looks like it has become unwell. The leaves are dropping and have yellow spots and the top is wonky and the trunk looks very brown. What should we do?
