Is this a penstemon?

It doesn't  look quite right for one to me. It's  doing incredibly well in dry partial shade

    Not long to wait until the flowers open and then we'll be able to have a better crack at it :smiley:
    It looks a bit like antirrhinum.

    It's something I bought. The garden centre I used in the olden days often did buy a number of plants get one free so I ended up with random plants to make up the numbers. I can't see myself paying for an antirrhinum nice as they are. Watch this space😉
