  I once raised some Puss Moths from young caterpillars. They build a cocoon on the bark of a tree and the adults emerged the following spring, but one of them spent two winters in its cocoon before emerging!

  Thank you. They are right in sight low on a sleeper retaining wall. Are they safe?
