Are these leather jackets?

Could someone please advise me what these grub like caterpillar bugs are they keep appearing on my patio I think they could be coming from the guttering?  Thank you in advance x

    That certainly looks like one ... they’re usually found in lawns.

    Thank you dove yes not sure why my patio keeps getting them, birds dropping them maybe x

    is it after rain?  I think they sometimes come out of the turf to avoid being drowned in heavy rain, particularly if the lawn is prone to getting a bit boggy.

    Yes, our lawn gets waterlogged in winter as we have clay soil x
