Peony’s

Hi, I’ve recently brought some peony’s and have planted them yesterday. However I’ve read that they should be only 2 inches below the surface , but I think I’ve planted them deeper than that (maybe 4-5inches). Should I dig them up and only put them at 2inches below soil level or leave them at 4/5inches?

  • I would dig them up and replant.

Add "definitely" between would and dig.    :)

I'm pretty sure it's 2 cm not 2 inches. I raised mine last autumn and it's finally flowering.
  • Thanks all. I’ll dig them up and plant them just a bit below the surface then

I agree: 2 cms not 2 inches. Tree peonies are sown more deeply.
