Euphorbia Problem

My euphorbia was doing quite well after being moved earlier this year.  However the new buds recently formed have turned brown and fall off.  Does anyone know why this would be?

Euphorbias flower early in the season so it could be that the stress of moving it caused the growing points to fail.  Maybe lack of water at some time.

Thank you.  As you say, maybe stress of moving it although it was growing well until now.

We moved one recently, just before the warm weather, and it did the same. Like yours it was doing well beforehand, we just gave it some extra water and it has now started to recover and send out some new growth.
