Something stripping the green off the rose bush leaves and leaving the veins of the leaf to dry out

I have a rose bush that has an issue. There is some critter that has been been stripping the green layer off the leaves and leaving the leaf. you can literally see through the thin layer of leaf that is left. ANY idea of what bug is doing this? the leaf is paper thin after it devours the green layer.

After posting this I did another day of research and found that it was the rose slug worm. I compared the damage to the pictures that i found and it was a match. Thanks.
