Wisteria

Hello all, hope all are keeping well during these difficult times.
I'm hoping someone can help me with a concern I have with a Wisteria(Amethyst Falls).
I purchased it last year when it was in flower.
This year, it seams to be late in flowering....there are plenty of leaves on it, and there are buds that have formed(see photo)...but no flowers as of yet.
I've seen other Wisteria's in the area that are flowering lovely.
Could there be something wrong with it?, or is it just being awkward? :D
I am planning on sprinkling some Sulphate of Potash around it next week.
Many thanks.

Some wisteria varieties flower later than others ... @Obelixx is good at wisteria ... maybe she'll see this if she's about

The buds mean flowers are on their way! Local conditions and the exact variety will affect flowering time... I just gave my sister a young Wisteria which was still just in bud. Amethyst Falls is actually a different species than the more common classic Wisteria sinensis, it's from the USA rather than China.

I would suggest that you make sure the soil is moist ... any tree or shrubs needs quite a lot of water to produce flowers and yours is a young plant whose roots will not yet reach down deep.
