What annuals can you grow in shallow bulb pots?

Hi all,  I've got some small shallow bulb pots that I had tulips in. Now they are spent I was thinking of maybe growing some pollinator friendly annuals in them for summer?  I've got some agaratum seedlings? Also got some small poppy and dwarf corn flowers that I could try? Anyone else do this?

I've done nasturtiums and poached egg plant [Limnanthes douglasii] in shallow pots. They don't need good soil either  :)

You could probably do the poppies and cornflowers too. I've never grown Ageratum, so can't advise on that one.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Just bear in mind that the pots will dry out quickly and probably need watering every day it doesn't rain.
