Pinching out

Hi, I have an number of established cosmos (about inches high)seedlings. Can I pinch out the tops to help them bush out or am I destroying the flowering?

Also depends how many true leaves are on them.

Also be aware that pinching out delays flowering
  • Ooops! They are about 6 inches currently. Happy to delay the flowering. I will pinch out half of the tray and leave the rest for variety. Thanks for your help everyone. Cheers,
