What's in my pond?


Can anyone identify these little pond critters? Loads have turned up in my barrel pond!

    Sorry to say, mosquito larvae. Good food for wildlife!

    they look like gnat larvae.
    They have a small breathing tube at the surface and soon as you approach they wiggle away to the depths until it's safe again
