I potted two cordylines few weeks ago and since then the leaves are turning duller, and yellowed. I have watered every night as we had dry, warm spell up until few days ago when rain  started. Garden is quite windy, north west facing. I'm new to gardening and looking for advice on where I am going wrong. I have had several cordylines and successfully killed them all. Tia

    green or red?

green a bit hardier.  red small ones do tend to be killed in -5 winters

okay, your currently potted up ones....yes they don't mind pots for a few years when young.

duller yellow leaves....its all okay!  the lower leaves die back, yellow then brown and if you leave long enough you can pull them off ( six months.....cut off sooner if you prefer not to see the brown).

what type of soil did you pot them into?

    how often do you water?

are they in shade, semishade, sun?

picture very helpful to assist you.

finally note if you are going for a more exotic/jungle look, there are facebook groups for this kind of thing more specific than this forum.
