Could someone identify this shrub/tree please

I am a postman and one of my customers had this shrub/tree growing up at the side of her front door, so she gave me a cutting .
The problem is I don't know what the plant is -- could someone identify it please

    It's a solanum

    Many thanks B3,  It was quite a prolific plant and very attractive with its foliage and flowers so was pleased that the cutting grew
