Lilac limb growing in pond
So as the title says we have a lilac tree limb growing in our pond. It's a large chunk about 4inch at the sawn end and about 10ft long. It was part of a tree that was blown down and I lower it into the pond to create some perch's over the water for birds etc. Thing is it's growing some lovely shoots 🌱🌱 so the main thing is could this cause a problem ? I was wondering if the roots would damage the liner, well that's if it will continue to grow, could it transform into a great beast of a thing. Should I keep or remove I'm unsure 🤪
