Stipa tennuisima seedlings?

jaffacakesjaffacakes Posts: 434
Hi all, I collected some stipa tennuisima seeds last autumn and sowed them. These little grass things have pooped up. They are so tiny still. I guess it's hard to tell if they are stipa? Hopefully they come on a bit over summer so I can pot up individually. Has anybody else tried them from seed? Thanks

Yes, they look like stipa seedling to me. The compost looks rather wet though so I suggest you hold off watering for a bit until the compost is a bit dryer.

Oh goody. Thank you🙂 yeah they have been battered by the rain a bit the last 2 days so don't look great. I'll move them into a sunny part to help them grow on.
