Tree/shrub I'D please

Can anyone help me identify this plant it is 4' tall and was in a pot in my new garden. We planted itbout and it had delicate white blossoms on it then. Is it a cherry?

    I think it looks like Apple (Malus)

    Thanks,  we have 8 apple trees and it isn't like any of them, now wondering if a pear

    This tree has just one single female part...stigma.
    This rules out apple,pears 
    Suspect Prunus sp.
    Cherry, plum, damson.
    But cannot see any glands on the leaves .
