Identification appreciated
in Plants
It is a monocot growing amongst our irises in a well drained soil and semi shade.
The 3 double stamens stand out from the flower, 3 staminodes,
it has 3 larger petals and 3 smaller ones.

The colour (not evident from the photo) is a lovely blue.
The flowers all open simultaneously on the flower spike.
