can someone please identify this beautiful shrub?

Hello all,

Firstly, can someone please identify this beautiful shrub? I have one in my front garden and I love it .
Secondly, I have another one located by a north facing wall in my back garden and it receives only evening sun so it's quite a shaded area. It's half the size of the other. My question is how would it respond to being dug up and moved to a sunnier spot?

    It looks to me like one of the shrubby types of salvia ... possibly Salvia gregii or similar. They certainly like sunny spots. I’ve never transplanted any big ones, but I do know that they strike easily from heeled cuttings or from layering. You can soon have loads of them.

    Does it flower? I'm thinking maybe Spirea, one of the pink flowered ones?. The leaves and growth habit don't really look like any of my shrubby salvias, but a closeup would help, and a description of the flowers if it's had any.

    Sorry. In my original draft, I mentioned it had small red/pink flowers/buds

    I suspect it might be a Spiraea Japonica but beyond that not sure which one. Cannot see the leaves properly.

    You could always move it, but prepare the hole all in advance and water generously throughout the year. They should do fine in semi shade too. Whilst it’s cooler now and a bit damp you could try. But avoid hot sunny days, you want it to settle as quickly as possible.

    Would like to see clearer pics to show the leaves.
