Garden colours

Hi all,
Hoping you will be able to help me! As you can see, my garden has various fence styles and colours. I'm in the process of making wooden planters which will run along the left hand side (either side of the small patio/bbq area).
Any advice on what colour to paint the fence, shed and wooden planters and any low maintenance plant ideas?
Thanks in advance!

  • I'd go with a deep green/grey like Curpinol's Willow or Sage to make it feel cohesive. I know a lot of forum members love deep greys.

For low maintenance, you'd do better to put your plants in the ground.  Plants in containers will need a lot more watering and feeding.

Nasturtiums thrive on neglect.  They are annuals, so in theory you need to sow the seed every year.  In practice, you sow them once and they seed themselves ever after.  There are bushy varieties, and others which make long trailing stems.
