Berberis Stenophylla Shrub

A couple of weeks ago I planted out a new shrub which was all lovely and green.  Dug large hole, backfilled with compost, soil and added some BFB & watered in well.  It quickly turned brown so I drenched it again over next couple of days.   It's still got some green bits ... any ideas anyone? Thank you!

I would just give it time. Planting out is always a bit of a shock to the system for a new plant as it can't make enough feeding roots quickly to support the top growth. Hold off on feeding and watering for a while until the soil around it is dry if you stick your finger in it.  This plant can grow quite large and is very thorny so I do hope it's got plenty of space around it!

Thanks @Lizzie27.  Yes, plenty of space around it. I bought it a few weeks back and decided it was about time I planted it out ... and it obviously wasn’t too happy about it. Thanks again.
