    Hi there,
It looks like a "sludgy" cat poo rather than a more dry "log" type!!!  I'm no poo expert, but I did own a cat who has now passed on.
Even though you have the wire, it only serves to stop the animal from scratching in the ground and burying it.
My trick is to have small lengths of bamboo about a foot long stuck into the bare ground or between pants to act as a deterrent.  Just think of the space that a squatting cat will need to "perform" and place the sticks close enough together to prevent a cat or other creature from doing their business.  Once plants bush up the sticks will be hidden but to make them look more interesting I put empty snail shells on the top.
There seem to be a lot of members on here who are pathological cat haters on here, I accept that cats and foxes will do their business and I just get on with making it difficult for them.  Getting depressed, angry, falling out with neighbours etc will serve no purpose!

Thanks for your reply!  I put some sicks into bare patches between my plants in my small front garden and a lad asked me why I had snail shells on them.  I just said it was to make the cat deterrent sticks more pretty!
