Plant ID please

Hi,

Please can you help identify the plant below and advise if it would cover an old conifer stump?

That's Iberis sempervirens, perennial candytuft, with the white flowers.  It only grows about a foot tall, so unless it's a very small stump it won't hide it.  On the other hand, the ivy which is behind it in the photo would definitely cover a stump.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Thanks so much for that. I do think it is very pretty so will buy to use somewhere else in my garden. I’m not keen on ivy so will have to try to find something else to cover the stump as it is about 2 feet high

There are some very decorative varieties of ivy to be had;  have a look at Fibrex's catalogue.  I have found them very good people to deal with.
