Wilko wallflowers-50p for 550 seeds

Just a heads up for anyone interested in wallflower seeds. I got 3 packets from Wilkos yesterday. They were not on offer, 50p is the original price. The `sow by date` is 2023 so worth getting a packet or two for next year also.

I used to use Wilko seeds at my last house. Great value and great germination rates too.

This year I have bought most of my seeds from Wilkinson and their own brand is absolutely fine, only standard varieties but good value for money. They have been a life saver in the current situation

I like Wilco seeds as well,  can’t grow wallflowers, got acid soil.

  • I didn't know that Lyn, but would a bit of lime help in the final planting area.

It would but I’d rather not, I like the plants that grow in the soil and I’m not one for wanting to change it, I prefer to live with what I’ve got.  I don’t think it’s a good idea to try and change the soil.
I did lime the veg patch for brassicas. Bit that’s a separate part of the garden.
