Browning monkey puzzle tree

Hi
My monkey puzzle tree, currently about 1.2m high is turning an all over orange colour tending toward brown, with a few small small spots of its original green.
Currently growing in a large container and in a semi sun position can anyone advise what may be wrong and if there is a way to revive it.
Any help will be appreciated as was wanted as a specimen tree in a paved area,
