Wondering if anybody else has bought any Thompson’s Plants professional multi purpose compost, blue bag, this year?
I had this last year in a black bag and had no problems. The formulation has changed and it contains forest gold.
It’s impossible to work with, very fluffy, and forms a crust on the surface of pots, therefore you think the pots are dry, actually they aren’t if you peel the crust off. I have sieved it to remove the fibre and make it usable. But have lost several young plants.
Would be interested to hear others experiences. Really wish I had stuck with trusted Levingtons.
