That looks like a Hazel bush. Not gooseberry.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Thank you. #dovefromabove and #BobTheGardener. I was taking care of as gooseberry plant as per label and looking forward for gooseberry desert. But what a luck I got Hazel Bush instead!.

It got even worst... We have lots of squirrels. No gooseberry... Squirrels yes.. So No nuts.. I am going nuts. ☹️
