Lavender not flowering

Hi I planted lavender at the front of my house (it is often in shade as the front is not south facing). The lavender has grown but never flowers and purple. Do you have any advice on this please? Perhaps I should try again with something different as the lillies out the front flower year on year! Thanks

    Lavender needs full or partial sun to bloom. It looks like it might be too shady. I also note from your pictures that it's English lavender than you growing. That doesn't normally bloom until June. It's the more tender French and Spanish types that begin to bloom in april
