Petunia advice please.

Yesterday I was given two petunias, night sky and baby doll . Both look like they have been really forced as they are leggy and already in flower. Do you think it would do them any harm to be given a trim back?
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

    Nip the flowers off, with a decent length of the stem, that should encourage them to bush out more.

    Thanks Yorkshire rose I’ll do it tomorrow, it was a nice jesture to be given the plants but such a shame that they were in such a sorry state.
