Mystery plant

I’m not an expert on plants and have found this growing in my garden. I’ve removed it and kept it in the hope that someone can tell me if it’s worth keeping and if so where would be the best place to plant it.  Also does it flower?

It has pale greeny flowers in late winter/early spring and the petals usually have a purple edge.  It's evergreen.   Common name is stinking hellebore tho the ones I grew in my last garden didn't stink at all.  Lovely plant and is in flower when not a lot else is.
