Ceanothus silver surprise

I brought a silver surprise from a garden centre about two years ago it had a few flowers on it at the time of purchase but since bringing it home it has never flowered although the plant its self is still healthy.any ideas on why it may not be flowering?

    What position do you have it in your garden?
    It likes a good sunny location, well-drained soil/compost and shelter from cold winds.
    It may just be that it is in the wrong place.

    It's a sunny position but doesnt get sun all day.ill try moving it and see what happens
