Tree late to leaf

Can anyone tell me why my tree is struggling to leaf, it's a year since we planted in our garden, just seems like it's struggling? Sorry not sure of name of the?

    Some leaf later than others. It looks ok to me.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Different trees, different timetables.   Our walnuts are only just leafing and the albizia is always a couple of weeks behind them so buds just opening.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
