Brown turkey fig

SuesynSuesyn Posts: 664
The embryo figs on my potted tree have turned brown at the ends. Any ideas why, it looks similar to blossom end rot so I wondered if it's a watering problem. Should I remove the affected ones or just leave them to drop off, they always seem to disappear before they are edible anyway although I have never identified the culprit

Squirrels😠 and they don't even eat them! Once I watched one take my only fig, take a bite out of it and throw it on the ground in disgust
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • I have found mice eating mine when I go to pick them
