Something eating my allium!

Good morning all, I’m new to this forum but am looking for some advice. I have grown alliums for the first time but have noticed that something is having a wonderful time munching on my flower heads. Could anyone advise as to what it could be and how I can stop it? Thanks in advance!

    Probably a snail.. Have a gentle poke around any loose leaf litter around it. Those sepals  that are munched are protecting the flower head and will drop off as the flower expands. If you start at the top pointy bit, you could probably gently peel it off.
