Sweet Williams or weeds?

Hi
Are either of these likely to be sweet William seedlings? There is a sweet William in this bed and these look like it, but I have a feeling they may be weeds, especially the first one (not sure they are the same type of plant). I dug up some of the ones in the second pic and put them in a pot just in case, but I had already binned quite a few as I thought they were weeds.
The sweet William in a different bed doesn't have similar seedlings around it, but is instead gradually creeping along. Could I root some of the creeping shoots and then move them elsewhere?

No longer newish but can't think of a new name so will remain forever newish.
