What kind of plant/herb is this?

Hi, we moved into our current property in February 2020 and I've been trying to identify the plants in our garden. Does anyone please no what this is? It has very strong smelling leaves (pleasant smell) I'm thinking it looks a bit like a basil Bush? But really am not certain, it would be great if it was but I don't want to use the leaves in cooking until I know what it is obviously. Any help would be really appreciated.

It's a Choisya ternata  - Sundance probably. It's the most common golden leaved one.
    Not for cooking with !
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ah was hoping for basil lol. Thank you very much for taking the time to help :-)

Edit: after googling what you said it was it does look exactly this. Thanks again

Basil's not a bush, it's an annual - grown from seed every year, and needs a lot of coddling in the UK.  I've never managed to grow it, but this year I have managed to get a few to germinate.

I think it was the smell that made me think it was basil and after reading up on coisya ternarta the flowers are said to give off a similar smell to basil. Never grown many herbs myself hence the lack of knowledge but I am growing a few in my greenhouse this year for the first time so hopefully my knowledge will improve!
