Planting Hornbeam or beech seedlings in late april?

I want to plant 3 meter hedge from small hornbeam or beech seedlings taken from forest.
i will probably take small seedling from forest, soak them for 24 hours and then plant them.
I don't know if is it worth it, because it is already late april and seedlings will probably die or will they survive replanting so late in growth period?
Could I expect that at least 50 percent of seedling will survive?
