Veg bed
in Fruit & veg
I have a raised bed in a shaded corner that I am thinking to use to grow veggies from seed.
I am thinking carrots, leeks, onions, perhaps peas, beans, etc.
It is North and West facing but virtually permanently in shade thrown by the shadow of the house (the shaft of sunlight in the pic is the rising sun reflected from windows). It gets maybe an hour midday as the sun traverses overhead.
Will this work?

Just another day at the plant...

I'll give beans a try then, nothing ventured etc
What is the problem that it will cause for other things in the bed?
Could I move it now or better wait until autumn?
