So just an update on my foxgloves. They still do not have flower buds on them yet??! Is there anything I can do to help speed things up?

@Dirty Harry i've only ever had three in a pot but that's largely because they self seeded there and I let them get on with it. I am not short of space either but if you are or have no space then you are right to try, why waste them they are such fab plants. Post a pic when they are in flower please.

Not been in flower long so will only get better but I think it works well, if you can excuse the fact that Thompson & Morgan can't get the correct seeds in a labelled packet-

I like it when you find a new container option that works that you'd previously disregarded.

We are finding quite a difference on flowering dates for the foxgloves, ones grown from seed last year have been out for 3 weeks while transplanted self sown plants are just starting now. Also the self sown are clearly much smaller than those from fresh new seed. It does give a much longer window of flowering period

These are going well for longer than expected.

Today I cut back the final main stalk but there's plenty flowering for the foreseeable from all the secondary ones that have appeared-
