First time veg grower

Hi all, I’ve got some bags of rotted horse manure and some multipurpose compost. Which would be best to go in vegetable planter please? I have these seeds (the carrots are chantenay) but not sure what to plant with what when it comes to planting out time. I also have various pots I can use. Thankyou

MPC or garden soil for the nasturtiums, they thrive on neglect.  I think all the others would prefer a mixture, though I have a hunch carrots also prefer low-nutrient soil.  Someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Just plain soil/compost for carrots, they need it loose too so can add sand. I have my lettuce in similar soil.
Brussels need somewhere they can go for a year(nearly) without being in the way/disturbed in enriched soil I think.
Beans can have enriched soil,  but need somewhere you can train them up to six foot tall.

Carrots - I’ve also heard they don’t like rich soil so no manure for carrots. Also don’t plant them near any beans as beans add nitrogen to the soil which carrots don’t like. If possible, grow carrots higher up so carrot flies can’t reach them. Or sow carrots with leeks, onions or spring onions to deter carrot fly. The carrots will also deter some sort of bug that likes the onion family - think it’s onion fly. I did have one carrot with a bug in it last year but that’s probably because I didn’t plant enough spring onions. I’m planting mine higher up this year.

Runner beans - at the end of the season when they’ve stopped producing, cut the plant above the soil but leave the roots. I tend to break up the roots a bit and then the following year, you can grow veg that like nitrogen - for me that’s pak choi.

Have a google of companion planting for vegetables.

Beetroot - I find they can be hard to germinate. You can try soaking them for 24 hours before sowing as that is supposed to help.
