Advice please

I inherited this photinia when I moved into my house. As you can see, it's looking a little sorry for itself.....what should I do with it?

We've had hardly any rain for weeks, East Anglia. Could it be too dry? Especially as it's close to the wall.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Possibly, I'm in Essex and have been watering my hedges, fruit trees etc. It's not just been the lack of rain, we have had hot days and drying winds for weeks. Soil is bone dry to hand depth.
  • @Busy-Lizzie that's a very good point, it's been dry down here in West Sussex too. I'll  try giving it a good watering especially as we have no rain forecast for the next couple of weeks
