Prunus Amanogawa - Trunks control
Hello,
We have a well established Prunus Amanogawa, approximately 10 meters tall. There are two main trunks originating at the base of the tree. It is a beautiful, healthy tree. The concern is that as the tree grows the trunks appear to be diverging away from one another. I assume it is the weight of the canopy. Is it logical to strap the two trunks to one another to control the spread between them? If so, suggestions on how to accomplish the strapping would be appreciated.
Thank you!
