acer katsura

Brought a Acer Katsura planted it in sunny spot in border, which a few days after the leaves seemed to have started pointing towards the ground. So I move into a pot and placed under a large bush with protection from the sun. Could my plant be in shock? Due to being planted  in the full sun and not liking this position. Any help on this would be grateful.

Generally it’s advised to plant Acers in dappled shade with protection from wind (a sheltered location).
  • Hopefully where I moved it to then will suit the Acer. Under a Red Robin Bush with shelter from wind and sun. Thank you
