Can anyone recommend a good quality cylinder mower for around £2,000? 

We have been running honda rotary ones but looking for better finer cuts.

What’s everyone’s experiences

    I don't own one, but have you looked at the Allett range? They seem to be leading at the moment with good quality cylinder mowers, plenty in the range within your budget.

    Cylinder certainly gives a much better cut, but needs a lot more maintenance. I have been using a small electric Qualcast, but it is now at the end of its life, and I don't seem to be able to find a suitable replacement. You might find one on eBay.
