Can anyone identify this plant please?

A friend has grown this from seed from a batch posted from Malaysia which were ordered as Rubber Plants.
Any information would be welcome, thanks

When you touch the leaflets, do they fold down? It looks like a mimosa pudica, (sensitive plant) certainly not a rubber plant.
  • Hi and thank you for your answer
Yes, clearly not a rubber plant, something’s got lost in translation for sure!  Laughing here!  It was last year so we can’t blame Corona for this!
Without contacting the grower, (which I will do, but there could be a delay) I can only add that it closes its leaves as the light fades in the evening.
    Does that help?
    Look forward to further clarification.
I appreciate you taking the time
    Thanks again

Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)
