Seaweed fertiliser for lawns
Seeking opinions please on whether seaweed fertiliser e.g Maxicrop offers any advantages over the traditional grass fertiliser. I don't use 4 in 1 as the dog likes to eat grass on occasion but stick to Scotts aftercut

It contains plenty of trace minerals vital for growth and health that are sometimes missing.
It contains some nitrogen, but it's not a general purpose plant food.
I use lots of the stuff and put seaweed meal on the borders - smells like the sea-side, so if you have plenty it will help on your lawn - a bit
