Moving lavender cotton
in Plants
I've got two beautiful lavender cotton plants but they where planted too close to eachother. Any hints on how to move one of them without killing it would be much appreciated.

How big are they? I believe the best time to move shrubs is in the dormant season. Are they very woody at the base?
You can certainly move one if you need to - just follow the usual procedure of watering well before and after. It might be worth cutting back too, depending on the size. A small plant would be fine.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Anyway it's been trimmed, watered moved and watered. It's looking a bit droopy so fingers crossed.
Thank guys.
