Plant ID help please

Tidying up the borders and trying to figure out what this is... I think it’s an Escallonia of some sort, but not completely sure. Anybody with a bit more knowledge able to help please?

  • I think you're right. Could be E. 'Iveyii' , has white flowers and is a large shrub.

  • Amazing! Thank you so much. No flowers yet, but will hopefully see some later in spring. Cut back some of the more wayward shoots today without double checking though, so hope I’ve not traumatised the plant.

    Agree Escallonia sp.

Pic one the shoot has had flowers...seed pods developing.
    Not a huge shrub.
Need to know the colour of the flowers before taking id further.
No way of assuming flowers are white.
