Plant Identification - Climbing plant

Can anyone identify this plant? Seen in Italy (where photo is from), also in the UK today. Keen to know if it's evergreen to potentially cover a garage wall with it. Any disadvantages to that plan?

Looks like Boston ivy to me. Not evergreen but does have good autumn colour before the leaves drop - https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/12350/i-Parthenocissus-tricuspidata-i/Details

We call it "vite canadese" means "canadian grape".
And it is beautifully reddish in september-october
